Amy Pauli joined the Consumer Protection Unit in December of 2020. After receiving her undergraduate degree from Creighton University, Amy graduated with honor from the University of Wyoming, College of Law in 2007. She began her legal career with the Wyoming Attorney General's Office as an intern from 2005-2007 and, from 2007 forward, as an attorney in the School Finance Litigation Division of the office. In 2015 Amy joined the Human Services Division, representing the Department of Health and the Wyoming Department of Transportation. She has practiced in the Wyoming Office of Administrative Hearings, various Wyoming circuit and district courts, the United States District Court for the District of Wyoming, the Wyoming Supreme Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. A lifelong Wyoming resident, Amy is married and has two children, Adam and Allison.
Kit was born and raised in Sheridan, Wyoming. After receiving a B.A. in Spanish and a B.S. in Economics from Gonzaga University, he traveled to South America, where he lived abroad for a year in the Magallanes region of Chile. After returning to the states, he attended the University of Wyoming College of Law in 2016, graduating with his J.D. in 2019. Kit joined the Wyoming Attorney General’s Office in August of 2019 as part of its Tobacco settlement and Consumer Protection Units. His responsibilities include enforcing Wyoming’s tobacco laws, as well as protecting Wyoming’s market and consumers from unfair and deceptive business practices. Outside of work, Kit loves music, running, Gonzaga basketball, and speaking Spanish.
Amanda Swift is the Paralegal for the Consumer Protection Unit and serves as the Administrator for the Tobacco Settlement Unit. She has been with the Attorney General’s Office since 2014. Amanda answers calls relating to consumer protection and tobacco matters. The information on the Tobacco Settlement Unit website as well as The Directory of Certified Tobacco Product Manufacturers, Their Brands and Brand Families, are all maintained by Amanda. Prior to coming to the Wyoming Attorney General’s Office, Amanda worked as a Senior Clerk of District Court Specialist with the Laramie County Clerk of District Court for six years. Amanda is a Wyoming native, born and raised in the Capitol City. In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs.
