I have authorized paid administrative leave for state employees for the following two events in July:

Wyoming 125th Anniversary of Statehood

State offices in the Cheyenne area, with agency director approval, may close at 3:00 PM in observation of the Wyoming 125th Anniversary Statehood on Friday, July 10, 2015.  State offices outside the immediate Cheyenne area, with agency director approval, may close for local observance.  Two (2) hours of administrative leave is being granted for this purpose.

Cheyenne Day

State offices in the Cheyenne area, with agency director approval, may close at noon in observation of Cheyenne Day on Wednesday, July 22, 2015.  The exception to this will be the State Capitol, State Museum and Historic Governor’s Mansion which all will remain open.  State offices outside the immediate Cheyenne area, with agency director approval, may close for traditional observances.  Four (4) hours of administrative leave is being granted for this purpose.
